“History of Public Realm” course field trip to Rome.

Kent State University Florence – CAED grad students explored the Tor Bella Monaca neighborhood in Rome with prof. Alessandro Coppola, their instructor in the “History of Public Realm” course. Though still affected by deprivation and neglect, the neighborhood represents the widespread desire for renewal that is slowly attempting at changing the current situation, also through processes of public spaces’  reappropriation.
