Fabio Gigone and Angela Gigliotti, co-founders at U67, to lecture at KSUF CAED.
Fabio Gigone and Angela Gigliotti, architects and co-founders at U67, based in Aarhus, Denmark, will lecture on Tuesday 14 February at 5 pm at Kent State University Florence CAED. Their lecture, titled “Research-Based Practice: What for”, will be introduced by prof. Marco Brizzi.
OFFICE U67 ApS is the research-based practice founded by Fabio Gigone and Angela Gigliotti and based in Aarhus, Denmark. Their practice works with a historical and theoretical trajectory to face and address the challenges that affect architectural production today. Although they often lean towards philosophy and political theory, they always operate within the occupation and definition of space, challenging architectural research methods between art and architecture. Among their research topics: historiography, labour, class disparity, decolonizing architectural education, privacy and proximity, archeology, and anachronism.
