Design Studio

NOW is the time to study design in Florence! Historically a place where commerce meets art, where fashion meets architecture and where engineering meets poetry, Florence offers a unique setting in which to study design across disciplinary boundaries. In the KSU Florence Program, Architectural Studies design studio courses build on the interdisciplinary nature of the ARCS studios offered on the Kent campus. They engage students in projects that represent the intersection of a wide array of design disciplines, including architecture, urban design, landscape architecture, product design, graphic design and other related fields.
