Antonio Acocella

Antonio Acocella graduated in Architecture from the University of Florence in 2013, where he obtained a PhD in Architectural and Urban Design in 2018. In 2011-2012, he attended courses at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. Since 2013, he has participated in research and teaching through lectures, seminars and writings, at various universities among which Università degli Studi di Firenze, Kent State University Florence, Syracuse University Florence, IED Firenze, California State University Florence, Università di Catania. Since 2025 he has taught the Study Tours course at KSU Florence and since 2024 the Interior Design course for IED Florence. He gained professional experience mainly in England, working for David Chipperfield Architects (2015-2017), Kengo Kuma Associates (2015) and Kollhoff Architekten (2012). In 2017, he founded the architecture studio AFSa (www.studioafsa.com), realising cultural, residential and commercial projects, published in various trade magazines, and participating in architectural and urban design competitions, recognised in the form of awards and exhibitions.
