Visit to the Venice Architecture Biennale: Reporting from the Front.

On a sunny October weekend, the students had the opportunity to visit the Venice Architecture Biennale, one of the most significant architecture events worldwide. Titled “Reporting from the Front” and curated by Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena, this year’s Biennale presents “architecture in action” as an instrument of social and political life. In the words of the curator: “from guaranteeing very concrete, down-to-earth living standards to interpreting and fulfilling human desires, from respecting the single individual to taking care of the common good, from efficiently hosting daily activities to expanding the frontiers of civilization.” Architecture can make the difference!
